Samuel Mitrofan SBC Poland

Dear pastor Ted,

In the period of time December 9-12 2016 I was in the southern part of Poland-Krakow-Katowice. Because I was called to help with discipleship. It was a joy to see again Gienek who was and still is the SBC representative for Poland and after that I met with the leaders of a new movement of church planting in the city of CHECIN not far from the border with the Czech Republic. The area is well known for the Moravian movement after the Reformation and there is still quite an influence in the desire for a new revival there. The teaching I had was well received and especially for the four strategies for spiritual battle, which impacted them. There is a great need for a Biblical approach in teaching there because there are many movements confused about healings, tongues, authority, Mark 16 the resurrection and signs to the Christians and because of these the church is quite divided and that is why there has appeared a lot of independent churches, independent of the real reason for the Holy Spirit. The discussions following the Introduction to SBC Training were good and even if the group was not large we encouraged one another and considered the value of all the Biblical truths.

The pastor of a large church from that area invited me to come again there and I consider the possibility of next time to organize an event to a larger scale with many more other churches represented.

On the way back to the airport a Catholic doctor really wanted to come with us and I shared with him a lot of the SBC principles because he struggled a lot with a few things and he was not able to cope with them. Publicly and privately the truths of God’s word are changing our lives and I experienced a lot of grace during this trip knowing that if we stay close to the Lord’s teaching, we can be more effective and stable for expanding God’s kingdom.

With love in Christ,

Samuel
