SBC CONF PARIS FRANCE

Dear Pastor Ted;

It was a blessing to share SBC with Pastor Emmanuel (Noli) Dalmacio's congregation yesterday - The Family For Jesus Christian Ministry of Paris France.  There were 32 Filipinos, all overseas workers, no young children.  They usually have 30-40 adults on Sunday.  The church has the use of a room for their worship from 9am-1pm every Sunday.  They have 45 min of French lessons before the service which they cancelled to give me more time.  They were very attentive and responsive to the lecture.  Comments were "Very practical", "Great encouragement", Will help me in my walk with the Lord". The congregation also meets at Pastor Noli's apt on Fri 9:30 pm(!!!) for prayer mtg and Ladies meet on Sat 9:30pm. Lord willing, we talked about meeting again.

Filipino overseas workers do not have much time off - usually 1 day /week since they keep 2-3 jobs.  Having the SBC books, manuals (maybe more manuals)  will be a big help to Pastor Noli as he teaches SBC in depth to his congregation. They were excited to know they would be getting material to study.  His address:

We had a stop over in Qatar on our way to Paris where friends treated us to a 3 day stay.  There was interest expressed at the church we attended for an SBC seminar there next year.  We agreed to pray about it.
