BURUNDI SBC PASTOR’S CONFERENCE HELD AT MUGERAMA IN MAKAMBA PROVINCE

Date: November 1-2, 2017

Location: This SBC Pastor’s Conference was held at the United Pentecostal Church, located at Mugerama in Makamba Province, South of Bujumbura, and Capital City.

Number of Participants: 45 people   attended the Pastor’s conference, from 3 Denominations and 5 local churches.

Among the 45 church leaders who attended the SBC Training held at Mugerama, there were 10 Pastors, 16 church leaders and 19 leaders of different groups from different local churches and denominations.

The SBC pastor’s conference being held in different local churches and locations continue to impact pastors and local churches from different denominations. We continue to see a Great need for conducting the SBC Training in today’s different churches in Burundi as well as many pastors and church leaders did not have a chance to go to Bible schools or get any sound biblical training.

From all the different pastors and church leaders, testimonies of those   who attended our SBC Pastor’s Training Conference, they confessed that they did not know that once one receives Jesus Christ and becomes a child of God, he/she enters into spiritual warfare and should be prepared and equipped to fight the war against our enemy the Devil/ Satan.

Here is a testimony of one of the pastors who attended the SBC Pastor’s Training Conference held at Mugerama, at the United Pentecostal Church. Emmanuel Masengesho witnessed and gave testimony that these teachings are all new and very special to us all. We have learned 4 good strategies to fight the enemy which we all did not know before. Now we are well equipped and encouraged to actively participate in the accomplishment of Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
