SBC CONF ENGUIKI-ORKEESWA JAN 29TH-31ST 2021

Dear Pastor Ted

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We praise Lord having helped us to conduct the SBC Conference in Enguiki-Orkeeswa on the date of the 29th to the 31st of January 2021.

We had a blessed conference of 3days and really, we all had experienced the presence of God. We taught all the lessons, and all participants were excited about these teachings.

Enguiki-Orkeeswa is the place covered by the tribe known as Maasai. This again is one of the areas which needs the Gospel. They practice usually in very committed traditional customs. They involved themselves in Idolatry, Polygamy, and a ceremony during circumcision, and for them, the circumcision for girls is a normal issue.

We praise the Lord for the SBC Conference because we placed emphasis on the Great Commission and why it is very important for the church to fulfill it according to Matthew 28:18-20. After the conference all the participants from this place agreed with us to implementing the SBC Materials in their churches. We praise the Lord also because they have counted on SBC Materials to be one of the greatest tools for spreading the gospel. We have distributed the books to them, and they received them with many hands of thanks.

In this conference all participants were women and children, except the Pastor of this church (Pastor Michael Mollel) because mostly in Maasai tribe men are caring for their livestock in the wilderness. Women use to stay at home with children so it is easily for them to receive the gospel because they are available as you can see in the photos. Despite all the challenges in this area those who have already received Jesus as their Lord and Savior they are very happy and still have the great passion to bring the gospel to the lost. We need to pray for men of this area for all of them to accept the Gospel.
