PASTOR SIMON SAMWEL CONGOLESE NYARUGUSU REFUGEE CAMP

SBC CONF PASTOR SIMON SAMWEL AT NYARUGUSU REFUGEE CAMP CONGOLESE NOV 19-21, 2021

 Dear Pastor Ted Grooves

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

We are very thankful to God for enabling us to hold SBC Conference at the Congolese Refugee Camp. The Congo is one of the countries in Africa that is experiencing civil war challenges. In the West Tanzania borders with Republic of Congo and our country has been receiving many refugees from the Congo, this Camp has more than 60,000 refugees. We praise our Almighty God because we have several pastors and leaders from different churches inside the Refugee Camps, and they received our teachings with enthusiasm and joy in their hearts. They have learned and we have agreed with them that they will continue to use SBC Materials which will make it easier for them to reach many in their camps and even, if possible, with other refugee camps around them.

Rev. Malaki Ntabindi who is a refugee from Burundi has been an immense help to us in reaching these camps. He was a long-time pastor before his country entered into the civil war involving Hutu and Tusi tribes, when he came to the refugee camp in Tanzania, he continued his pastoral ministry and still manages the church within the refugee camp. The Lord has blessed him indeed because he is extremely helpful to us as we plan to reach the refugees.

Thank you very much Pastor Ted Groves for your heart for Tanzania. We remember you very much in September 2014, you came to Tanzania accompanied by Samuel Mitrofan, and you held a seminar on September 25 - 26/09/2014, in fact I will never forget it. We praise the Lord because He has prepared a great and wonderful ministry that has reached many and many more to come to Christ and this year 2021, we have received permission to take Christ's message of the good news to refugees for more than three camps now. Truly the glory to God alone.

Books have continued to bring a unique blessing here in Tanzania and have really helped many in building the kingdom of God. We always pray for you and my Tanzanian Team we pray for you truly recognizing the burden that God has placed in you for the sake of the gospel. We promise to continue to be faithful to reach more people to come to Christ. Thank you, SBC Team and Grace Community Church.
