Samuel Mitrofan SBC Conf Adjud/ Moldavia

Adjud town is in the middle region of Moldavia, the Eastern part of Romania. The number of Christian here is very low and almost for 50 miles in some directions there is no evangelical church. I was invited there for an SBC Training by a pastor that mobilized people from this area and the training was very useful. There were about 40 people and they were encouraged and motivated. All of them received a book and I saw the joy on their faces because it is a poor area and the access to the books is limited.

The host church and the pastor welcomed this kind of training and we were called to come again for a small local theological seminary training about 30 people. Together with the senior pastor we discussed about other opportunities in this area for SBC trainings and it is a need there for such teaching. The Lord was glorified and the idea to use the material for the local leaders was very encouraging for me. I met also some gypsy leaders with a church with a very unusual size for that area, about 800 members and like 500 children. They are also interested to have a training for them and we hope maybe during the fall of 2016 to be able to honor their desire. God is always good!
