PASTOR SAMUEL MITROFAN IN STEFANESTI

SBC CONF STEFANESTI SEPT 2020

Greetings Pastor Ted,

"Many Christians have struggled with spiritual defeat or recurring sins because they haven't learned to apply biblical principles to specific situations. Perhaps they do not know God's will because they have not matured in the Word. Or they know what He expects of them but disregard His counsel. In either case, the result is the same.

Jesus Himself repelled Satan's attacks by quoting specific portions of Scripture that applied to specific temptations (Matt. 4:1-11). He knew the Word, believed it, and refused to compromise its principles. In so doing He set a pattern for us to follow."

I am so glad to be involved in a ministry that proclaims the Lord's word and SBC is helping people to restructure their lives and to come closer to the purpose God has for us, to glorify Him in all the details of life.

In the last weekend of September 2020, I had another SBC introduction in a town called Stefanesti, remarkably close to the Republic of Moldova. We had an incredibly enjoyable time together, a very profitable one and with a great feedback. We were not so many because some of the expected participants had to help with the local elections in the town, but we had a nice fellowship and God poured his grace on us.

Even if we had many SBCs in Romania we still have a lot to learn about how to do this effectively, but it is reassuring to see how God is taking our simple efforts and multiplying them with a reach that far exceeds our grasp. What we can really do is to expose the people to the Light especially during this time of the pandemic, when many things are uncertain, at times grey even dark for many people.

GOD is Light and in Him, there is not even a shadow of darkness. That is why in the fullness of time He has sent the Light to come into this dark world, and in our day to day world, he has displayed the Brightness of His glory. When that Light dawned, it is Brightness could not be understood by Darkness because that Light had Life in it. So much Life that it was able to be the Light for all men. (John 1:4). So even in Milwaukee or far away in Romania, and despite the new limitations we face, we must be light and salt because the need will be deeper in this time of crisis.

May the Lord strengthen us all, keep all close in prayer next week I planned to do another training close to Ukraine Border so please pray for us and continue the good works our dear Lord has already prepared for us. Finally, all the glory belongs to God Almighty!

Be richly blessed my dears!

Samuel Mitrofan
