BURUNDI SBC PASTOR’S CONFERENCE HELD AT GIHANGA

Date: October 6-7, 2017

Location: Pastor’s Conference was  held at Gihanga in Bubanza Province, at Baptist Church.

The Number of Participants: 46 people attended the Pastor’s conference, all from 3 local churches of the same Denomination. Among the 46 who attended the SBC Pastor’s Conference that was held on October 6-7, 2017 there were 5 pastors, 7 evangelists and 34 people involved in the different ministries of the church.

As stated in our Burundi SBC report, the church leaders from different local churches and denominations who attend the SBC pastor’s conference.  There witness was that they did not know that once they received Jesus Christ and became a child of God they enter into spiritual warfare and should be prepared and equipped to fight the good fight against the Devil/enemy.

During the SBC Pastor’s conference, church leaders and pastors were equipped and encouraged   to actively participate in the accomplishment of the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We as the Burundi SBC Team, we are very grateful to God and Grace Community Church for giving us this opportunity and privilege to serve the church in Burundi. Our plan is to establish a second team in Gitega Province so that we can reduce transport and accommodation expenses, as we are limited in funding.
